THE FLUTE & ME

I fell in love with the sound of the Native-American flute over ten years ago after hearing Robert Tree Cody perform at the Desert Botanical Garden's Luminaria Night.   I knew immediately that I wanted to learn how to make & play my own.  I don't have a musical background, but after a lot of trial & error, I did it!  I use a variety of wood, including walnut, pine and aspen &  I recently made my first gourd flute.
